I started in real estate at 20 years old as a salesperson, and I never left. Over the next three decades I moved through every part of the industry β selling, managing, building offices, running regions, and eventually finding my way to where I do my best work: getting real estate investors access to capital when they need it.
I've participated in every phase of the real estate cycle from the early 1990s through today. I've seen the markets that punished investors who were over-leveraged and the ones that rewarded those who were patient and well-capitalized. That perspective shapes how I approach every deal β I'm not just placing a loan, I'm thinking about whether this transaction makes sense for you long-term.
βIt brings me a great deal of personal enjoyment to be able to work with and help small business owners and entrepreneurs.β
Before moving into commercial mortgage and lending, I built and managed top-performing real estate offices for a national real estate firm, eventually overseeing a region generating over $2 billion in annual sales volume and over $60 million in annual revenues. The business I led consisted of thousands of agents, dozens of managers, loan officers, and title salespeople. We facilitated tens of thousands of real estate transactions together.
That operational background β understanding not just the financing side but how deals actually move from contract to close β is something I bring to every client interaction. I know what a real estate transaction looks like from every seat at the table.
